SENIOR CLOUD ARCHITECT/SENIOR TECHNICAL CONSULTANT
Consultant will be a part of Vertical Relevance (VR) team that is being engaged to provide support to Amazon Web Services (AWS). As the Senior AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect, assist the AWS and Client teams with team leadership and by performing the following activities:
- Develop cloud Center Of Excellence (CoE)
- Lead the infrastructure work stream for the CoE, responsible for setting up and operating the work stream
- Define foundational capabilities to build, develop and prioritize backlog, and assist with implementations
- Document activities and required work stream management tasks
- Reviewing backlog and recommending priorities of capabilities to build for the infrastructure work stream
- OU implementing standard AWS Identity Access Management (IAM) roles
- Review and recommend implementation approach based on existing, documented Customer’s OU hierarchies and IAM security general best practices
- Provide oversight for implementation and training activities for the OU and IAM security general best practices
- Provide oversight and design support where applicable for engineering activities
- User access key management, “jump boxes,” bastion hosts design, and implementation
- Review existing AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) requirements and implementation
- Recommend new AWS KMS requirements versus leading practices
- Review existing fault isolation detection (FID) requirements and implementation
- Recommend general leading practice FID requirements
- Provide a leading general practice bastion hosts security design
- Provide an AWS CloudFormation template to implement hosts and security groups
- Provide hands-on training of AWS CloudFormation template to implement hosts and security groups

- Provide leading general practice shared service design for Customer high level requirements
- Infrastructure as code deployment pipeline

Vertical Relevance is looking for a top-performing Sales Executive (Client Partner) to focus on selling AWS Cloud solutions (Services) within the Financial Services Market. The Vertical Relevance AWS Cloud Services Team supports financial services firms in uncovering, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities. Working hand-in-hand with our Founders, Solution Partners, and cloud leaders, these sales executives focus their highly skilled efforts in securing relationships with qualified targets and decision-makers to uncover AWS services opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process.
The Client Partner (CP) is responsible for developing qualified pipeline, and closing deals involving VR’s AWS Cloud Services. Key responsibilities of the job are to –
- Drive demand for AWS Cloud consulting and related services across DevOps, DevSecops, DataOps, Resiliency
- Devise and execute sales strategies and tactics across the full AWS Cloud Services portfolio which will result in exceeding sales targets
- Prospect, target, and build pipeline with prospective clients that fit the assigned market profile for AWS cloud Services
- Differentiate AWS capabilities compared to other cloud providers
- Develop credibility and relationships with direct relationships as well as AWS team
- Drive direct sales approach and succuss plans for selling AWS professional services
- Develop and execute joint sales strategies with primary ecosystem partners at the account level in coordination with account leaders
- Connect our AWS Cloud SMEs to pursuits and engage them in architecting cloud solutions
- Work with the Pursuit and Sales Effectiveness teams to create and execute cloud sales campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ year successful track record selling AWS or cloud related services
- Fluency and technical acumen related to AWS – DevOps, DevSecops, DataOps
- Working knowledge of the cloud technology landscape and marketplace
- Competent at engaging and developing business with AWS partner
- Experience selling high end, project-based, professional consulting services, characterized by long sales cycles and both small and large dollar transactions

Vertical Relevance is looking for business analysts who will perform the following tasks:
- Work within Asset Management, Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance and Wealth Management on areas such as business strategy, business performance and management, risk management, process improvement, business requirements, financial & operational improvement, data and business case analysis
- Perform current to future state analysis for sales process efficiency, target operating model re-design and operational process improvements
- Create mappings of the current people, process and technology components of a business, operations or technology
- Identification, collection, organization and synthesis of large data sets for quantitative, qualitative and risk analysis using Excel and other analytical analysis tools
- Conduct research on business models, industry trends, perceptions and best practices and support team in understanding and adoption of the best practices
- Conduct interviews for appropriate findings and documentation of pain points and gaps. Document interviews and prepare deliverables including status reports, critical gaps, pain points and procedures, etc.
